Malaysia's Admin Don't Care If It's Black Non-Muslims Dying

This was written by my cousin Arivind Abraham to Malaysiakini...i thought it was so thought provoking...so for those people who are thinking about banning Starbucks and Coke in Malaysia, i think you would wanna have a look at this

Malaysia's Admin Don't Care If It's Black Non-Muslims Dying

" While the people of Zimbabwe struggle with cholera, hunger, hyper-inflation and violent repression, president Robert Mugabe has decided to take a month-long holiday.
The 84 year old leader's wife, Grace, has been accused of withdrawing £60000 from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe to pay for the trip to their family home in Malaysia"

Aidan Radnedge, London Metro, Monday, 12/01/2009.

That was what Londoners woke up and read this morning. I wonder how many Malaysians even knew about the above.

When most civilised countries in the world have barred Mugabe from travelling to their countries, Malaysia has not just let them buy property in the country, but heck, seems this Malaysian escapade is not the first. Zimbabwe's press reports that it's a pilgrimage they make every January.

Fact of the matter is, the Malaysian government could have easily have barred them from coming into the country, they could have barred them from purchasing any form of property in the country. It's not like the genocide and murder he's committed in his country is any big secret.

But hey, he's not killing Muslims I guess.

So instead of actually making a stand that would have an impact , the Malaysian administration instead chooses to highlight the plight in Gaza, by calling for a boycott on American products. Yes, because the consumption of Coke in Malaysia is so significant, they are going to shift their policy on the Middle East. But it is a Muslim issue after all, so Malaysia must make a stand, talk about it in parliment, raise it with the UN.

But meanwhile we'll let the family of a genocidal maniac come have a lavish holiday whilst their people rot in the streets.

And where is the opposition in all this, the parties meant to hold BN to account?

Nada.

At the end of the day, it's just black, non-Muslims dying so really, Malaysia doesn't need to make a stand.
